What this is

A free checklist and calendar built from public regulator guidance for UK hospitality operators — bars, restaurants, cafés and pubs opening or already trading in England and Scotland. It exists to make sure you know what to do next, with a real link, phone number or email for each thing, so you never have to leave to find out.

It is not legal advice, it is not a certificate store, it does not book vendors, and it does not send emails. Every fee on this site carries the date it was last checked. Fees change — councils, regulators and insurers set their own rates and they are not obliged to tell us when they change them. Where a fee genuinely varies, we say so rather than inventing a number. Every claim of fact links to its source; see /sources for the full list.
